2012 Maserati GranTurismo Sport in Geneva

Maserati had released the GranTurismo Sport at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. When compared to the standard model, this grand tourer sport have several modification and upgrades. The engine and power output from the Maserati GranTurismo Sport remain the same as mentioned in previous post of Maserati GranTurismo Sport preview.

2012 Maserati GranTurismo Sport is powered by a 4.7-liter V8 engine that outputs 460 hp (338 kW) and 520 Nm of torque. It is able to offer 100-ms shifting times as the engine is mated with an electro actuated gearbox with MC Shift technology. The GranTurismo Sport is able to accelerate from 0-62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.7 seconds while reach its top speed at 300 km/h.

To replace the continuous damping control system, Maserati had equip their new sport car model with the Sport Skyhook system. It also comes with several distinctive exterior styling such as 20-inch wheels, LED DRLs, a new front bumper, darkened taillights, 6-piston Brembo front brake calipers, and 4-piston rear brake calipers.

While inside the car, you will see that the interior of the Maserati GranTurismo Sport is equipped with a new set of seats, aluminum, Poltrona Frau leather, and other expensive materials.
